You must realise by now, regardless of what form it takes, you cannot truly kill Runescape...

I realize now that I have a few hundred million in the game. This game taught me how to manage money because I was always so damn poor. I learned young that you need to have money to make money because of this game. Did anyone else actually learn anything useful while spending hours playing this game?

I learned about Java from writing Runescape bots.

Runescape was my first addiction, too. Did fairly well, was something like level 80.

I quit when I got to high school, came back for two days and walked away in disgust at the massively inflated "economy"

party hats are easily a billion gold now.
