hello all!!
ok so i'm positive that i know what i'm doing here...i just completed a few similar app challenges over at HBH but i opened app 1 in edited out, found the part where it says "congratulations! the password to this level is '.....' but all that's between the quotes is scrambled blocks/symbols...is there another step that i need to take? any feedback is appreciated!

thanks so much for the quick response....
so i did just that and even used the arrow keys to move through the document character by character to be sure i'm not missing anything, but the only thing i've found besides what i mentioned earlier is a few strings of numbers and commands...none of which seem to work as the application password
i'm a bit of a n00b and a late starter (i'm already in my twenties) at this...can i get yet one more nudge in the right direction...this is killing me because i know i must LITERALLY have the answer in my lap but something's just not clicking...thanks for reading

You are definitely on the right track. Are you entering the input in the correct place? Just so you know, I just tested this mission and it works.

Also just tested. Remember what you are trying to get the password for exactly, and think about what a SN might look like.

thanks so much for the help...i solved it just now...i was totally jumping the gun, entering the APP password on the SITE!

Tip: You just need a good editor like notepad++
