What malware has hit you?

Hello everyone,

I'm just wondering for the sake of statistics, have any of you been hit with certain malware lately? If so, then what kind?

Personally, I've been hit with about 15 counts of malicious Java applets, all caught by MSE. Besides that, my computer's been pretty clean so far.

I haven't been hit with any personally in a while. (Knock on wood) I run scans weekly and a variation of scans. However, on laptops/pcs that I work on for people Ive seen stuff from smart hdd and scareware which tries to trick the user into exposing sensitive information, hides files, etc...

I recently disinfected and secured a friend's computer which was attacked by recycler. Pretty much a pain in the ass...

I got hit by a few trojans lately, not much though.

I managed to pick up a few cookie trackers and some random adware generally from use of facebook and all the stupid games and apps on there... nothing malicious or difficult to remove..

I've been hit by sality malware from a flash memory

The malware infects all the .exe files, and I had Avira, but it didn't cure the files. Instead, it put them in quarantine, and Avira itself got infected and I couldn't open it

So I lost almost all my .exe files. Had to re-download everything again
