what exactly is the difference between a form fir which there is no link on the entire website, and the form like "index.php" which contains a hidden file?
both can't be accessed without typing them in the URL explicitly..
please clarify this doubt

Ok, so I am pretty new to this web site and I really like it here. The problem is, I'm really stuck on Basic Mission 3. I have read all the HTML stuff my brain can hold, and I think I get it, but when I try to apply it to the source page of Mission 3, I just get confused. Here's what I have done: I opened the source on Notepad but everything appears to be gibberish to me. I even tried to eliminate the "hidden" value on the source but I couldn't edit it anyway, so it wouldn't work. I can't seem to find the URL in the source, and I wouldn't even know what to do if I did. I was wondering if the password.php (I hope that's not a spoiler) can even be opened, or am I in the completely wrong direction... I've also tried opening this: /missions/basic/3/index.php as a .html file, but to no success.
I really appreciate how kind everyone is on this site though; thanks for the great work.

Funny coming from a member with a signature that says, "Retired and Inactive. So don't fuckin' bother me." That works both ways you know.

I'll give you guys a hint: What does "PHP" stand for?

Now, take the third and fourth letter from the first word (the word that starts with an H) that PHP stands for.

Next, take the 4th word HTML stands for (the L), and take the third letter from that. Add it to the end of the first two letters you got from PHP.

Finally, take the second and eleventh letters of 'directories'. Add that to the other three letters.

You should end up with a five letter word : _ _ _ _ _

That word will give you the hint you need to complete the challenge.

You got me! I got as far as spelling out 'pen' and I had the 'i' in my head... from there, it was all laughs and calling you names. Thanks, I needed a good laugh; now, I'm back to learning HTML & php.

Thankyou!! all of your little hints got me where i needed to go. that one made me kinda proud of myself actually. 3 basic missions in two days!! not bad for a noob?

and btw the most helpful hint was finding the "five letter word"
and not the five letter word itself
