It probably won't work. However, it's worth trying. Try to go to system restore and try rolling back before the issue started happening. If that doesn't work I would start off by downloading malware-bytes from here: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3001-8022_4-10804572.html?spi=1be7f5dff275dedb1fab20d57dad23c1

I'm assuming you have windows. You may want to start up the pc in safe mode then download. If it still doesn't go to that page, open IE with no add-ons. Install malware bytes, update and run a full scan while in safe mode. Let finish then remove and restart. Depending on how much space is take on your hard drive, the scan time will vary.

After that if you are still having issues then download rkill from here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/ and run that. Then download combofix from here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/ and then run that. Note: click on the blue "Download now" buttons, not the green one on those last two pages. See if that works.

Check to see if there are any proxies set in you browser settings. I've seen that before. Also, windows defender in safemode is nice if you use windows.
A broken clock is right twice a day, however, I am neither up that early nor up that late...

I suggest getting procexp (Process Explorer) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx from technet.. when you get it, you can put it on your desktop and run it.. consider renaming it. I rename mine to BobJones.exe. Why? Many malwares now manage to block using well known tools to subvert them, this includes things like MBAM.

Use procexp to end everything, and i mean everthing, that doesn't completely shutdown your PC. Then get MBAM and run it... twice.. three times even.
