Hi,

I've completed this mission, but I'm looking for another way to do it. I have completed it by modifying source locally and fixing the .php r******* p*** to the a******* p***. This allowed my changes to be more "global".

I originally started trying to hack this out via JS injection, can someone tell me if this is possible and how to do that? I'm really interested in learning all that I can about netsec. My main problem was trying to find the value to change via injection. Can someone PM me perhaps with help? I can also provide specific details on what I was trying and you could let me know if I'm on the right path.

After scouring Google for how to select certain items, I discovered what I needed to get JS injection working!

hello.. i av just finished the challenge BUT i can't make it unto the web.. is it meant to be a local challenge? i mean i'l solve it on my pc and not meant to be online?

I used Firebug to change the vote value from 5 to a bigger number and then hit vote on the page. It takes me to a HTS page that sais: Error. require_auth. Please set me on the right track. Thank you for your time and effort.

*Tips: Use firebug but dont set your sights to high, and DO NOT give up.

Hey, I'm having a problem editing HTML. I'm trying to solve this mission by switching the names and web addresses of the top band and the inferno band. But for some reason, on all missions, it won't let me edit the HTML. What am I doing wrong?
