Phishing?

Hello everyone. I have a certain situation I could certainly use some help with. An user in my forums has threatened to hack some accounts to show that he can do it or some shit like that. The day after, he gave a .tk link to some users and told them it would be easier to access the boards like that. It was a direct link to the login form.

Note that even if I am logged in, the login form shows up. The source code is also shady. My question is... can that link have some malicious use or is he simply trolling? Thanks in advance.

The link was probably made to resemble your same actual login page. Good attention to detail by noticing that the source is "shady" as you put it. Most likely in an attempt to trick users into giving away user credentials. While it won't work on all, it will work on some. You should post on your forum to let users know to look out for this kind of thing.
