The time it took you to post this you could have done one google search or searched through the forums and been able to answer this question. Now, start taking a proactive approach to learning. Don't take it too harshly. We love it when people really try to learn. We hate it when people really just want to be spoon fed. You understand

Also, post with descriptive topic titles and be informative in your posts. In this case there wasn't much to describe because you didn't bother searching ahead of time.

First order of business, do you know how to operate a linux machine? If so you're half way there, now just learn how to use and operate backtrack 5. Only took me around a week to really get the feel for it, I'd suggest starting there.
