Well, I completed the mission already when I asked the question, I had to go through the thread to find out what it was, which took a long time. I was wondering if you could find it any other way. But thanks for the answer anyways.

Get used to it. Sometimes things are purposely made to be discrete or throw people off. Hence, developing with security in mind.

A lot of these missions are like this. :/
The Ext Basics, Programming Missions, and App Missions are better at teaching actual skills compared to trying and solving these puzzles.
Sites like Hellbound Hackers and Enigma Group offer more technical skill building challenges if you complete these. They have more specific direction in more of their missions.
