Hi, i know the last reply is a half year back, but i need help with this programming mission. read all of ur hints and tips, but i get no significant bytes in thr rgb values of the image.

can someone hlp me how to go on with this challenge?

After re-reading the entire thread, I think there is more than enough information to figure it out. The hard part is going to be ... figuring it out.

When I did it, I had approximately 100 different generated images on my computer and I was ripping them all apart in different ways and comparing them to each other to see what was different and what was the same. Once you figure out the pattern (the easy part) then the tough part begins. It requires somewhat a brute-force approach (at least that's the approach I took).

At each step look at the data you have, then compare it with the notes here. You should find commonalities. Once you've verified you're on the right path, it becomes a lot of trial and error.

Yeh the problem is, i thought i was on the right path,
cos there was a difference in some pixels compared to the others in the image,
but the number of diffrent pixels was variable in each image. so i got stuck.

i found out that there is an irregularity in the images, but in this post sth was said about 88 characters,
but the number of diffrent pixels i got is between 176 and 218.

i keep on thinking!

I don't follow. Got a hash, no clue as to what next. SHA256? Won't that take a good long while? Data: [88], Decoded: [64], if you follow?

Probably my favorite programming challenge.....I don't want to give too much away but in short it goes something like this:
Find, convert, decode, compare.

More or less, I found, supposedly you might call that conversion, then decoded...End result, no clue as it says it is encrypted multiple times, no indication of any significance for bruting with.

if you have found really what is the first data,and was able to decode it...you should figure out what to bruteforce and how..also a hash identifier should be helpful if you don't know what that is,and reading mission info is vital to know HOW
