Cain Error Message

I was in the process of APR after sniffing in Cain and got this message:

"Couldn't bind HTTPS acceptor socket".

Could someone explain what this means exactly? Also, Cain essentially dies (freezes up big time) every time I press the poison button. Is there any way to prevent that from happening? I'm still just trying to figure out how it works by playing around with it so any guidance would be muchly appreciated.
