Wow

Good find. Hopefully they aren't getting in over there head on this one. I don't agree with all the things that anonymous does but I do like to follow what they do by reading related articles. That is partly just because of the "underground hacker" aura they bring to the table.

On another note, their last two headlines including this one seems like they were for the greater good. Their operation darknet drew some headlines. Shit, if they keep stuff like this up the government isn't going to know if they should arrest them or just let them be. Good article.

Anonymous draws its roots from an online forum dedicated to bringing sensitive government documents and other material to light.

Just read this article. Figured I post it since it's a follow up to the OP.

Good find, I was waiting for an update. I saw a short clip on CNN today about the original threat. I was wondering when it was going to hit mainstream media as well, took them long enough lol. But it looks like it is not over yet.

At the same time, Milenio points out that other Anonymous members in the English-speaking world have not thrown in the towel and are still planning on releasing incriminating information about Los Zetas collaborators on November 5, Guy Fawkes Day, as originally planned.

We have seen reports that Los Zetas are deploying their own teams of computer experts to track those individuals involved in the online anti-cartel campaign, which indicates that the criminal group is taking the campaign very seriously

That would be an interesting outcome. I wonder how skilled the cartel's crew is.

A drug cartel itself; I doubt they have a group dedicated to this medium. They have to focus too much on their physical actions. However, it wouldn't take a lot to find and hire someone (as stated above). There are a lot of individuals and groups out there that stay off the radar; that I'm sure could track Anonymous if they really wanted too, or were offered enough money, or had their families kidnapped.

This could get very interesting... and probably bloody.
