Hello, as I well demonstrate by my lack of appropriate lingo, I am very new.
But I have a question regarding wireless systems.
Would it be possible to create an interceptor using an LAN chord and say some combination of homemade antenna/circuitboard? By interceptor I mean something capable of taking in sattelite/wifi ect.
If so where might I find the appropriate literature regarding this concept?

Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but why not just get a "wifi" Network adapter on a Hi-Speed USB stick and use packet sniffing to get access to a wifi network?
Maybe you can be more specific for what you are trying to do?
