#1, Google is your best friend.

#2, There isn't a noob question, people need to learn. Just because you're new doesn't mean you're worthless and stupid. The only time you would be worthless and stupid is if you asked skiddie questions, instead of wanting to learn.

Well ms-dos, windows command prompt. Guess I should have been more specific. But hey, he was looking into unix. Never know when you're gonna come across it.

An even better way is install Arch Linux from scratch. You'll learn a lot of Linux commands.

Sounds like a more fun way of learning linux commands, think I need to find myself some good virtualization software for my Ubuntu OS then will give Arch Linux a go :)

That coupled with abit of reading should do the trick.

This isnt as comprehensive as the link logical posted but it covers the most basic commands (and things you will most likely be used to doing in a point and click manner if this is new to you) and gets you to work through some examples so you are more likely to remember the commands.

I also find This site useful.

The best way to install Linux is to totally hose your system and install it. Of course you will need to find a way to go online and read the installation manual, but it forces you to install it without giving up. Plus you will then be able to use it as your primary OS thus forcing you to learn it even more.
