Read this several years ago and still have it on the good ol' bookshelf. An interesting read but not all that great.

"Ethical Hacking" - god i hate that term. It's the media politicizing everything, you know. Why can't hacking just be hacking?

I agree. Most of the time I find "ethical hacking" used as another term for pen testing.

The term hacking and hacker is so non-politically correct

Im new to the fourms but I sat the ethical hacking course that you seem to be on about

Its a MONSTER of a course, all geared around ethical hacking and YES you do learn to cool stuff

But im lucky as my company paid for it.. My job title is "ethical Hacker" at the moment... I do this for a living
It costs a bomb to sit the course, but you get 5 books each with 1000 pages in each covering most aspects of hacking.. You get 4 DVDs with every virus and tool know to man...

Ask me questions and ill help answer them....
