This is a great article (written by the awesome Violet Blue who refers to herself within the article as a "porn loving American Girl") covering this topic.. I was going to post a new thread but then I came across this thread that is already on the topic.

And the REST of you should really stop thinking about TOR as a reliable safeguard for your online privacy. I think of TOR like driving on the Interstate with a RADAR detector. It's a false sense of security that will make you feel better about speeding. Then BAM a cop turns on his gun from a hidden location as you pass him and your thing goes freaking nuts. There are several proof of concepts for various TOR busting methods and alot of money is being poured into the technology not by government or police but by RIAA, ASCAP and BMI to bust Torrents. Also Honeypots can jack you up, tracking cookies, DHS sanctioned malware for snooping on U.S. citizens, and lets not forget everything Microsoft. The anonymous browsing thread has been covered a dozen times however so I'm not going to keep ranting here... but to stay on topic.. this bill sucks kiddie balls.
ya that's right.. kiddie balls - the official bill name is "Protecting Children From Internet Pornographers Act of 2011."
which is code for.. we just assfucked your rights.
