External Hard Drive Encryption

Hello all, not sure if this is the right spot for this question but I'm sure someone can help me out.

I have an external hard drive that I use for my movies and tv shows and etc. It was normally the G drive. And when I used Miro to download my torrents, I changed the settings so that it would recognize that the G drive is where it would store the said downloads.

Now, I encrypted my hard drive with TrueKrypt and it changed my external hard drive from G to K. When I try to open Miro, it won't let me saying that it can't find G. Since it doesn't even let me open it without the hard drive being recognized, I can't change the settings to where it would download everything in K instead of G.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? I did a google search but was unable to find anything relating to this type of issue or maybe I just wasn't using the right keywords. I would really appreciate any help I could get because now I can't download anything :(

Anyway, thanks for your time.

You can't.

The files need to be completely readable by Miro for it to keep seeding. If all it was was a changed drive letter (K: to G: or whatever) then you can easily just change the download location, but since you encrypted it Miro doesn't recognize shit.

Hope that helps. :)

No, no no no. lol

I can't open Miro at all. In any way. It's not a seeding problem or something like that. It's just because my external is now known as K. And since I set my downloads to be in G, Miro won't open unless it reads my hard drive. Which, IMO, is very. fucking. stupid.

EDIT: And since Miro won't open, I can't change where to store the downloads from G to K. It's very annoying and frustrating.

EDIT2: The only thing I can think of would be decrypting my hard drive and reformatting it, but then I'd lose everything stored on it. So I'm trying to find another option first.

Have you tried decrypting it? Post back with the results of that.
