unable to connect to the irc help?

Post more information. What server are you connecting to? What port? Are you trying to use SSL?

I am on IRC right now, but until I get more info it'll be hard to help.

Hey guys/mods, i am facing a little strange problem while connecting to irc.hackthissite.org/6667 using MIRC,MIBBIT or using any other IRC client and the problem is i m being disconnected with a same message that an "OPEN PROXY FIND ON YOUR HOST" and that is making me sick because i am not using any, Why would I?. I am simply connected to my isp accessing all the website on the internet using the proxy less connection but when i try to connect to IRC , i am disconnected always. Please guys have a look and tell me any possible solution for that. Thanks.

Try resetting your network configurations back to default. You're not using Tor or anything of the sort are you?

what you mean by turning my network configuration to default? Do i need 2 reset my modem or something ? I have a DSl cable modem. No i am not using any kind of proxy/proxy servers like tor. All i want is to complete my Programming mission 8(Coding IRC bot). I have made the bot now in order to check its working i need to connect to IRC but i m being disconnected again and again !! Help me out Guys.

Yes,My program is also not able to connect to the mission on IRC. Damn i wanted to complete it before my holidays end.
