Pr0n uh, I mean Ethics and you...

What is right? Is there right? Are you right?

Pr0n uh, I mean Ethics and you...

What is what, does it matter?
Titles that are read are misleading, hence the mention of pr0n.
I like pr0n, that's it, I don't really like gay pr0n, but I'm not going to have a fit go to a church and try to have everyone help me ban it.
I say, I like my pr0n, you like your pr0n. Does that mean I want to see 6million pictures of your pr0n on my computer? No.
I won't do it to you either.
What if you were offended that I wouldn't offend you. What if my partner was into Bondage and domination but I wanted an equal relationship?

To treat people how they want to be treated leaves the world full of monsters, to treat others how we wish to be treated is selfish and deridding. I say, treat people how you want to treat them, if you don't like them, don't like them. If you want to be a rutting boar than be one.
Be ready for the responsibility and the consequences.

I don't kill annoying people I hate because it's not worth it.
On a deserted island, who knows just how many venomous snakes (non indigenous) would bite them in the exact same place?
Morals ethics personal guidelines; they're like pissing yourself; it's a nice warm feeling for a few minutes then it leaves you cold, humiliated and alone for years to come.

I'm not really sure if I understand your whole argument, but I don't think I can agree with it. Our ability to understand, analyze and discuss moral and ethical problems, self-restraint and goals separates humankind from the other animal species. I would agree though, people should chose to live their life their own way, and face their own consequences.

Okay so it sounds like you want to talk about a couple separate things.

As far as porn itself goes - Whatever you like what you like so do what makes you happy. Many of us expose ourselves to it and has become pretty common. I enjoy my share from time to time. Whatever.

As far as your church's concern is - I think it mostly feels that porn is one of those forms of lust. Which the church obviously preaches its followers not to do. So of course the church is going to have bad things to say about that specific industry.

Now you get into how to treat others. I don't have to be nice to somebody that I don't like for whatever reason. But really, when they say treat others how you would want to be treated they're really just saying, don't bitch when they aren't nice to you either.
Have specific reasons why you don't like someone. Every action has a reaction applies to more than just physics. If I don't have something in common with someone, then it's not that I don't like them, it's just I never have anything to say to them. I'm not going to be a jerk just because.
But if you really do have a good reason to not like somebody and feel the need to be a dick to them, then don't complain when that person and all of his/her friends do things to tick you off even more.

Always remember that being successful has a lot to do with the connections you have. If you are competing for a job against someone who is just as good as you are and has a very comparable resume, it will most likely come down to the people you know and how well they like you. Live how you want to, but if you are a dick to everyone you meet, you're not going to have any friends and no one will want to work with you.

porn is ok but it does have its place, like more out of view from the public eye
on the web. for example, say that one has to look up some info. that
person then puts his info into a search engine. Many links that look legitimate
come up, but they turn out to be porn sites! i think that the pornography industry should
stop tricking people who are just innocently looking up information. then again,
who am i to say what the porn industry can and can't do?

On the whole pr0n topic... My only questoin is this, would u like your wife and daughter to feature in these vidoes?

Other than that, I get the feeling your debating with yourself more than asking an actual question about morals and ethics?

Treating people how you want to treat them is still as selfish as treating them how you wish to be treated.
In fact, almost every kind of interaction towards someone else initiated by yourself can be considered selfish, almost every kind of interaction has some kind of motivation behind it for yourself. (eg.: sympathy, *I* want to help. Love, *I* want you to be with me. Jealousy,)

The reward can be anything, from money, to a relationship, to that ''feel good'' feeling.

This is one of those posts where somebody will spit a load of clichéd garbage about ethics - trying to make themselves look intelligent.
Making these posts is like pissing yourself; it's a nice warm feeling for a few minutes then it leaves you cold, humiliated and alone for years to come.

Great. Now I'm tempted to pee my pants and then change out of them when the warm feeling starts to leave.

Although I don't entirely agree, I understand your opinion and accept it. It does make sense, you're not entitled to treat everyone in that way. If you want to treat them like garbage feel free to do so, it's not against the law to not like someone. There aren't many things we are allowed to choose in life, except friends and enemies. Pick your battles I guess, eh? :|
