I see thanks Goatboy, sanddbox and msbachman for steering me to the correct info, but is there anyway that servers can know your MAC address ? in example that u're playing an online game through a client. So do they ban u using IP, MAC address or ?

It depends on the game - they'd either ban your account or your IP address. Probably your account. They never see your MAC Address, though.

Once i played on a maple private server and was wrongfully banned, and than my friend tried to login at my place to find a gm to talk to but he also can't login to the game till my friend changed my MAC address. Hence why i asked if our MAC address will be known by the server via client.

Trust me, the mac address wasn't the problem. Perhaps you have a dynamic IP? When you change your MAC Address it will reconnect your interwebz so it's possible your IP address changed.

Good to know where my posts should stand. I personally have enjoyed the challenges so far, I do however want to practice some of the concepts more. What would be a good legal way of doing this? I have a great memory and going over the challenges over and over, would become pointless, with out the application of some variation. Any ideas are welcome.
