Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the original Unix OS developed by AT&T in the sixties?

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the original UNIX OS so I can install the original UNIX OS on my computer and use that as my only OS?

Dude, that link should have been mega helpful... Google would have been mega helpful if you had decided to use it first anyhow.

Also, the "Original UNIX" would have been run on hardware that is extremely different then your PC. It wouldn't work unless you did some major tweaks.

The above link only has source code and information about UNIX. I am looking for a live CD/DVD or An ISO CD/DVD so I can download it burn it to a CD/DVD and then install it on my computer like I can for a Linux Kernel. Please Advise.

You probably aren't going to find the original in any assembled form for distribution, and it's highly unlikely that it would run on any modern computer; It was written over forty years ago. That's a damned epoch or two in computer years.

Since source code isn't good enough for you, you're probably better off trying an old school Unix enthusiasts community. There's a remote possibility that somebody might have a bootable copy laying around for the sake of nostalgia.

It looks like you're looking for a whole operating system, not just a kernel. I would say that Free BSD is the most UNIX-like operating system today. There are also lots of Linux distributions that are very UNIX-like, like Slackware
