Maybe one of your fields isn't properly called from that line. I didn't check the page though. If you PM me your whole code I can try and debug for you.

I feel so happy.
Took me 3 days to code this in java, cuz im not that good.. i had really bad code, 1 class did it all .. xD i know my your supposed to use multiple classes for readibility.. but oh well i just had 1 super class, with 8 methods.

-Main
-charWordArray
-charWordListArray
-holdScambledALPHABETICALword
-holdWordListALPHABETICALword
-holdOriginalWord
-final_compare

But i did it :D

What i did was:

Put scrambled words from text file into array.
Each word then converted to char array.
Alphabetically sorted out and put in array

Did same as above to wordlist.
-But also stored original word in wordlist + alphabetic word

Compared alphabetic (scrambled with wordlist)

And vo'ila

Solved with Python 2.7.

The code looks a bit sloppy and inelegant to me, however. If anyone else has some experience with Python and wouldn't mind offering some constructive criticism, I'll be happy to PM the code after work. Only people who have solved this one, of course...

I'm not a Python guy but I am a Perl guy, and in Perl we like to shorten things up and make things efficient. I'll check it out. Some commenting would be appreciated. :)

Yeah I was just trolling again with that pic.

Still, I didn't realize there was a Python book like that from O'Reilly.
