Um, I guess my question is sort of off topic based on the previous post, but from that list of streaming tools, is there any one in particular that's preferred above others? I've got VLC and DarkSnow/DarkIce now. I'm not sure about the proper configuration to set HTS radio as the output stream for VLC, but DarkSnow is incredibly intuitive, and for the most part, it's ready to go. Still, I'm willing to use, or otherwise learn to use, whatever works best for the hosting server. Also, I've got other questions regarding stream settings, frequency, file format, and quality? Is there kind of a standard we should work toward, to balance both the load on the server, and overall output goal of the HTS radio station? Sort of a flat input format you'd like to see, so that everything that gets played provides the same level of performance and quality? Thanks in advance.

The links above are to listen to the radio, not upload to it. I believe uploading to the radio is done via FTP.

Nope. If you do want to be a DJ (and that would be awesome), talk to one of the radio staff (I would recommend Goatboy).
