Wow, that is extortion. Get some photo spray for your plates! Works pretty well in NY anyway.

Does anyone know if this blog is somehow connected with the writer of Little Brother?

Nah, it's just a guy who read the book and liked it enough to make a few instructibles out of it.
We did not invent the algorithm.
The algorithm consistently finds Jesus.
The algorithm killed Jeeves.
The algorithm is banned in China.
The algorithm is from Jersey.
The algorithm constantly finds Jesus.
This is not the algorithm. This is close.

Just finished Little Brother. So, so, so good. I enjoyed the acknowledgments/epilogue at the end the most. Has anyone read the author's other stuff yet? Worth it?

Thetan seems to think so.
The glass is neither half-full nor half-empty; it's merely twice as big as it needs to be.

I had read 2 books, For The Win and Little Brother, and the Overclocking short stories.
I'm reading everything again. This are some awesome books.

I'm in the USA for the first time right now, and getting here was hardly a picnic. Since reading the book just seeing the DHS logo makes my skin crawl, and it's made me think more about just how useless and humiliating the security measures are...

To say the least, I wasn't happy about the obligatory photograph and fingerprinting. I'd rather have called off the whole trip than leave my most private information with the most dangerous enemy of any free person in the world - the US government. I can taste the freedom already, and it tastes sour as hell.

You should keep reading. They surely leave their fingerprint in your brain... forever.

I'm not a fan of the US but this seems like a massive understatement given the lack of genocide etc - I'm pretty sure China and Burma are both less free places...
