We all sin, and the bible says that the punishment for sin is death. Eternal death and separation from god. Then Jesus came and lived a PERFECT life, and he was killed in our place.
The bible says that if we believe that Jesus is the son of God, and accept his gift of forgiveness, than our sins will be forgiven and we will not have to be separated from god for eternity. And then when we die we will get to party with God in heaven.
