I'm working on an AI project, and I need people of EVERY type of personality to talk to. Basically I just need to know how you say things in certain situations.

I agree with most of what the second link says besides this part:

ESTP's least developed area is their intuitive side. They are impatient with theory, and see little use for it in their quest to "get things done". An ESTP will occasionally have strong intuitions which are often way off-base, but sometimes very lucid and positive. The ESTP does not trust their instincts, and is suspicious of other people's intuition as well.

The ESTP often has trouble in school, especially higher education which moves into realms where theory is more important. The ESTP gets bored with classes in which they feel they gain no useful material which can be used to get things done. The ESTP may be brilliantly intelligent, but school will be a difficult chore for them.

The more I read these the less I think these classifications fit me. For instance, I have INTJ qualities, ESTP qualities, INTP qualities...this is really confusing.

Anyways, what do you need us to do to help with your AI project?

@sanddbox - Ik, I don't think I'm a protector, but whatev. Who are we to question widely accepted psychology. I'll PM you whenever I need you to paraphrase something for me.

I just took the first test and got The Mechanic. I think INTJ fits me better though. I've always gotten that one.

Does it really seem likely that 16 personality traits fit over 6 billion people perfectly?

The problem with that quiz is it only gives you the result of what your answers lean towards most. In other words, you could be only 51% ENTJ and 49% TITS, but the test would say you were ENTJ.

I've always been good at reading emotions, loved debating, valued intelligence, etc, so I think your personality is a lot more complex then they say it is.

Fer srs tho, it's more scientific. Most personalities are like "OMG UR A MARTINI!" or "Your Spirit Animal is The Hawk" or some shit. I actually had to take the Spirit Animal one for a class recently. Got TEH HAWX. Fuck year.

@sanddbox - I believe the world pop. is well over 2 trillion... but I was looking over Briggs-Meyer's and it does seem to leave out a lot. I was going to come up with my own system, but that kind of detail probably doesn't matter.

@Vulpine - I tried that and got the scientist... after reading over the whole description of each, I do think protector fits better. However, it gave me 78% introverted (big surprise, not).
