An ethics question, perhaps? Or just a topic to see our varying opinions, when it comes to a hacker who makes his way into public light, for whatever reason.
If you need some background. Adrian Lamo is a pretty talented guy, with some well documented big hacks to his credit. On the other hand, he's been caught. Now he is making a splash for his role in the Wikileaks, collateral murder, Bradley Manning headlines.

My personal opinion, when news articles start referring to someone as a 'famous hacker', that's the point at which you are no longer a hacker. As for what he did in the Manning case... my jury is still out, trying to get a real grasp of ulterior motive.. my guess is more notoriety.

Honestly, that guy was incredibly stupid for bragging to Adrian in the first place. Still, it's stupid that he ruined a great source of many leaked documents...even if the leaker was an idiot.
