The HTS skeleton framework builds off of a solid custom MVC framework. As such, developers and any one else willing to contribute will need a strong to decent understanding of the overall design pattern. Seeing how this project will be documented really god damn well, i present to you the first of a series of documentation discussing the back end framework we will be deploying.

I'm sure many of us would enjoy an explanation of the types of security features that will be used on the site.

Another thing I thought of, maybe someone already mentioned it, would be to approve articles/code submissions instantaneously, and then allow for their revocation post hoc in the few cases in which that would be necessary.

That would do two things:
1) lessen the amount of work for moderators
2) increase the likelihood for people to want to contribute their work (their posts are put up immediately, instant gratification)

From a marketing standpoint, this makes good sense as well, because the more articles the site has over a wider variety of topics, the more readers will be drawn here, the more members the site gains, etc.

HackThisTV seems like a huge wart to me.. What's the reasoning behind not using an existing video hosting service like youtube?

Also, I'd like to see blogs viewable/comment-able by anon/lurkers/search engines.
