I was arguably one of the top runescapers like 10 years ago...

I was also arguably one of the most gullible people in the world 10 years ago and gave a complete stranger all the answers to my password recovery questions without realizing it.

Hooray for 12+ hours a day for a whole summer down the drain! (I have since learned not to invest that much time into anything)

I played about 6 years ago and just started playing again like 6 months ago (my old account was stolen by an ex-friend, my reason for quitting). Way farther in game now, but dam my old noob accnt had santa and party hats, back when they were worthless lol. Sound advice here: dont play rs, it is a waste of time and can consume your social life and such.

Yeah, when we I was in primary school runescape was the 'Big thing'. Heck, guys gave the pretty girls armor, weapons and GP to gain their attention. Even now i still remember an attractive classmate's runescape user... I get hit by a wave of nostalgia when I hear this game. I remember two of my classmates became 'members' and we were all awed by them... and that Zezima was the no.1 at that time... Good times, good times. Ah, how the days have gone.

Haha seems I'm not the only one who reminisces about their early internet days and the incredible amount of time wasted on that damn game...

You have to love what runescape used to be, though: An incredibly simple, ever-evolving game you could play anywhere with a web browser, for free. The game was well-balanced in general, damn addictive, and most importantly for me, stoner-friendly

Then Jagex went and traded integrity for cash and broke it forever... *Arbie 'n' Chief style "Saaad faaace"*

Runescape died. I used to love luring n00bs into the wildy promising them stuff if they helped me carry stuff back from a really high level area. Then I'd kill them and laugh as they threatened to report me.
