Consumables anyone?

So chances are most of us here are on the computer a lot and are also probably organic and therefore require sustenance. Me myself recently realized I almost religiously drink mountain dew and eat snickers candy bars and pocky cookie sticks. What do you guys use to fuel your thinking? Why do you think this is? (yes I just realized this is the philosophy section)

I mostly drink water and eat vegetables and meat. My carbohydrate input is not very high. I always try to take the time to eat properly, and enjoy it. I like to cook with my girlfriend. I also drink a lot of tea, mostly green and roibos, and black when I need coffein.

I can't get enough of that oriental mix. That and coffee plus whatever other snacks (like veggies) I find. Sometimes if I stay up late I will drink a red bull or two.
The glass is neither half-full nor half-empty; it's merely twice as big as it needs to be.

There aren't too many foods I don't like. My house doesn't have a ton of junk food, so I often cook for myself. Sandwiches are hands-down the best type of food, with (no joke) peanut butter, bacon and banana being one of my favorites to make. Aside from that, Red Vines + Mr Pibb = Yummeh. Coffee is a must, although I seriously think I am immune to the effects of both caffeine and sleeping remedies as a result.

And, of course, for those late night hacks...

Ritalin or adderall work very well but also come with some side effects.

That just looks intimidating, lol, when no one is here to cook I usually eat Ramen Noodles, Oriental Ramen Noodles, and Red Bull. But, the majority of the times, I eat meals containing, meat, veggies, fruits, and milk.

I usually cook for my mom, my little bro and I. I like making Italian food and that's usually what i eat. Pasta salad, Italian chicken, spaghetti, pizza. And since i live in the south i can't help but make southern style food, even as horrible as it is for me.

Energy drinks are only good for Jager Bombs xD. Nah, they're pretty good, but I hate the crash that inevitably comes after drinking them. Not to mention, Caffeine is a bitch of a drug, after a certain point of tolerance, it no longer brings you above baseline at all, rather, it gets you back to baseline. Basically it has withdrawal type symptoms, just less extreme than lots of other narcotics. That's why I treat it just like any other drug, keep my tolerance low, and use sparingly.

Wow...since when did junk food supply sufficient..and lasting energy!
I think I have the most healthy diet here...
Salads, chicken, egg whites, rice cakes, and little sandwiches are my thing. Along with gatorade and green tea as choice of beverages. Pop isn't my thing.

Candy: Candied Ginger
Drink: Water and Homemade Kombucha
Snack: Killer Fried Egg Sandwiches
Desert: College-style Crepes (original recipe: flour tortillas, water, salt, butter, syrup. Soak flour tortillas in water and add a pinch of salt. Next, fry them in butter in a pan. Then add favorite topping. Ie. Maple syrup. Taste just like crepes! And super quick and easy. Little mess.)
