([msg=24777]see Re: Stego 17![/msg])
I'm still stuck on the "data". I know the data is in different "bands".. or stripes, or whatever you want to call them. Distinct groupings of data formats.
The first grouping is easy enough. Second seems odd, and I'm not sure how to properly "read" it to make it into something similar to group 1. The third looks similar to group 1 and I don't have any issues "making" it look like group 1. Just not sure if I'm doing that portion right either.
The part I'm really stuck on is what to do with group 2. I need a push in the right direction as I've been struggling with this one for a while. I know it is probably something stupid I am overlooking, but it seems my mind likes to over-complicate things. Any help would be appreciated.

After some playing around, I have arrived at what I think is "correct" except 1 possible problem.
I have a 148b archive which appears password protected like other posters here have said. However, the last half-byte appears "wrong". I'd like to verify with someone else the correct last byte to make sure that it won't completely throw me off here.
Beyond that, I'm now at the portion where it appears I need to guess passwords to the archive. I'm assuming that as long as my last byte is accurate, that it's just a matter of hopefully eventually getting the password right.
Edit:
I seem to have found the password. Quite tricky that RAR file is.
