hello, i am having trouble with basic 3. i have read through all the posts on basic 3 and i think i have a good understanding of html. I think i know what to do, but i dont know how to copy and paste something on the html notepad sheet. Because i know that you need to paste another line in, in order to find the passcode, i think. please help

You don't need to do anything but look at the HTML. By viewing the page source, you can find out where the password is.

Well, look through the HTML. Maybe you will see why.

The way you should start any hacking attempt is right clicking on the page and clicking 'view source'.

Also, this belongs in the basic missions category.

Fascinating, I've never heard of any one doing such while attempting to locate buffer overflows or format string exploits. Perplexing.

1. Using Firefox
2. Right click, view page source. OR
3. File menu, view drop down, page source. OR
4. Keystroke CTRL + U

If source != open {
close all windows;
disable browser addons;
goto 1
}
