I would like to thank grapeape007, I have been working on this mission for weeks and the advice he gave was extremely helpful. all the other sites i tried didn't give me the right push to understand what i did wrong and when i finally figured it out i wanted to kick myself.

I have absolutely no idea what to do, I don't know which file is the php or how to open it. With firefox I searched everything that has .php in it but I still have NO idea what I'm supposed to do, please help me and I've been doing this for about three days now!!!!!!!!! I heard over a million times to think of Basic 1 but all I had to do was look at a hidden comment, so I really really really really need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it isn't considered a spoiler can someone please tell me what you mean by think of basic 1

Basically, you have to look through the HTML (like in basic 1) but its not a comment this time. For this mission you probably need to actually understand HTML somewhat to find what you need.

Not just about HTML. You need common sense, a left nut, and HTTP knowledge. Because you posted a topic on Basic 3 when there are numerous topics on this already, you don't have ANY of these.

I'll give you guys a hint: What does "PHP" stand for?

Now, take the third and fourth letter from the first word (the word that starts with an H) that PHP stands for.

Next, take the 4th word HTML stands for (the L), and take the third letter from that. Add it to the end of the first two letters you got from PHP.

Finally, take the second and eleventh letters of 'directories'. Add that to the other three letters.

You should end up with a five letter word : _ _ _ _ _

That word will give you the hint you need to complete the challenge.
