I'm doing something wrong. I opened it in hex, copyed between the null bytes (didn't copy them), converted them to binary an got exact 2 null bytes at the end. And nothing is missing. But no car is readable. What the ...?

This was a pretty crazy mission! Not sure if this will give too much away, but if you're sitting there puzzling over the where to put this one 'thing' Tiksi forgot, think endianness...

I can't believe I passed it! :o First time I started this mission I tried decoding the string and even got further by converting it to a different numeral system twice, but that didn't seem to get me close enough to the answer :? Now, after reading the forums and knowing that there was one thing missing, I tried it again. After trying all the possible variations I was about to give up, but was actually so pissed that I started bruteforcing  To my surprise I got it on the first few attempts, more importantly with a password I thought I had already tried  Oh, well, good stegano on the whole, thx tiksi! On to the next challange :)

I don't know what I am doing wrong.

I get the following possible strings after extracting what I though was the stego.
I got this strings: [Edited by Defience]

Can someone give me a hint of what I am doing wrong?

You are very close. Take a look at what you have. Some of it's readable, some of it isn't. Maybe a slight change will make it all readable?

OMG, I am sorry for the strings >.<
I will try my best to not put anything that can be consider a spoiler.

Edit: YEAY! I DID IT!
Edit: >.> Damn, I think I have the correct answer. I will post it down in black, and someone tell me if I am lost.
SPOILIER ALERT!
I added a 0 to the first binary block that started with 1 and moved all the bits.
I got this: 8fnhas6 and 00111000 01100110 01101110 01101000 01100001 01110011 00110110.
However, it is not accepting neither the ASCII text or the binary

SPOILER ALERT!
PS: The spoiler must be acceptable in the forums while they are hidden. If someone wants a spoilers Click if you really want it.

Tiksi (the one who made the mission) simply made a mistake and forgot something. Yet, he didn't forget it randomly, but in a certain place - no brute-forcing required, at least none that needs you to write an app for it.

Well I ended up brute forcing it and completed the mission pretty easily. I still don't understand how could I do it without brute forcing, the place that the missing something was supposed to be in doesn't make any logical sense to me and seems like it was chosen randomly.
There are 11 types of people in the world - those who understand binary, those who don't and those who already heard this joke.
