So i finshed mission three i just dont know why what i did worked, can someone explain. Highlight the rest of this and read what i did (i dont want to spoil it). i took the ************ and Did some magical crap to it
why did that work?

I'm guessing by your answer you did basic mission 3.

It worked because the url is a path to a directory / file, the file that you found is a file on the server at a certain location, so by doing what you did, (putting in the right location), you essentially viewed the file. Much like being on your desktop: C:\documents and settings\user\desktop\ and opening a file called hello.txt: C:\documents and settings\user\desktop\hello.txt

Did you look at the source code? If you can't figure it out, try learning about the different types of input fields here.

I would also recommend you try Wikipedia for definitions of such things as source code.
