Not sure what that 'zombie thread' timeframe is here, but I figure a week isn't too bad...
First off, your motherboard is essentially the base for the entire system. If you really want a killer gaming rig, you'll get a motherboard that has two PCI-express x16 slots (for dual SLI video/Physx cards). If, for whatever reason, you cannot obtain said motherboard, the one you listed will suffice.
As for the video card: Get the best your budget can buy, simple as that. Your motherboard supports PCI express x16, which is the standard for modern video cards.The only choice you really have is ATI or nVidia. Find the best video card from each manufacturer, then check out the head-to-head tests (I always liked tomshardware.com)
