as a school side-project.... i got this code:
- Code: Select all
VWlpjnViYYfbXXYaeVlamVVYVYVbWeacdbXXpicWeaYfdVlmpVeacflVpZemZlbnnbZeZecZXaVnViccfbXXZWlpdjnZXokcebVVYWbXldhZZcVZWeVXYZbWelldWWeWYalVWXdeVldhaaWXXbepcffbXVcmeVldldWbbWncZWcZmdXVWiYlWembZXbdcZXeVckWaWlVVXdZZWaalhWafdkVbnaXmVieWefanXedWcXVZWeVXYZaZpeXnZWYYaZVdlWYYWXhVjVVb
and this hint:
We have a very interesting substance
But we need to hid it, so we do some transformations, in this order:
First, it is transformed using a base: Gadolinium.
Then it transforms into a noble one: Helium.
By reacting with Molybdenum it gives a compound.
Filtered using Gadolinium this leads to the coded recipe.
Find the initial substance.
.... been looking for a couple of days for answers... google, wikipedia...
what sounds logical though:
Gadolinium, as a substance... has it's atomical mass 64 => base64
--------
to shorten the search if someone is able to help:
Molybdenum - A = 42, Group 6B, Period 5 (maybe hexa, since group=6)
Helium - A = 2, Group 1, Period 1 (maybe binary?!)
a possible thing that i couldn't test..... get the code --> base64 --> hexa --> binary --> base64 --> text
-------
hope someone sees this
thanks in advance
