Hey gals & guys,
Little back story before I ask my questions..
I've been wanting to wanting to try Solaris for a while, so I got a copy of (pre oracle purchase of Sun) Solaris 10 from
www.sun.com. I installed it, but I found that while command's, file locations, interface were different it was still essentially the same as most *nix Os'es..
So my questions are, Is Solaris really worth learning for ZFS? Is there as much demand for Solaris now as there was at the start of the decade? Or should I just stick with what I know (FreeBSD) and get my self as skilled as possible in it?
Thanks.
