Which cell phone do you use?

What type of cell phone do you use and what are your likes and dislikes about it? My last phone was the Palm Treo 700. I liked the long battery life, the Palm OS (not windows), touchscreen, a lot of free programs for it on the net, beaming capability. I disliked how thick it was but that was also part of the long battery life I suppose, and the short antenna seemed to keep my service bars low. I am currently using the Motorola Q. I don't like that it's NOT touchscreen, and to unlock it is a bit of a pain. With the Treo you just hit the center button to unlock, on the Q its a pin or passphrase. I do like how thin it is and it has a nice screen for watching videos. The iphone looks cool but my service provider doesn't carry it and I don't think it can be flashed.

Sony ericson k610i.
Like most they break after awhile, battery lasts about 6 hours, half an hour if Im on opera, 3 hours if on a modded opera.
Its about 5 inches in length, 2.5 wide and 1.5cm thick.
Its slow and overheats too easy. Buttons fail at times. Its been infected once thanks to a link here that some tard posted. Several times I have had to modify it to work for me.
The camera has broken twice, speaker at the back once, cracked the screen, etc...
Had a big problem with the apps and games that neither would open.
Wouldnt change it for the world though :D well maybe a windows smart phone or that linux one coming out.
Im off, last year of school and all, I had something longer but char limit fucked that up. So yeah, had a good run here. Thanks for the memories. Thanks to the staff and users.

The Samsung Instinct, it's a boring phone. No free apps... I only read the news, use the GPS, and check the weather on it. The browser sucks. The IDE for it has been pulled for no reason also. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I bet the majority of phones already use Linux (or some Unix variant, anyway). It makes perfect sense, really.
Perhaps not though, that's just a guess.
Plenty of routers, for example, run Linux.

I'm usually on the go and being in the military we are not allowed to walk and talk on the phone at the same time. (yes, to answer a phone we must stop where we are standing to talk.) Because of this I do lots of texting. I have a Samsung Rant. It has a fully functional slide out keyboard. It is pretty good. Battery has never died on me in a single day. I charge it every night. It has pic/video capabilities. Up to 10MB video length too which is pretty good for a phone! I don't use Apps or the internet with it so can't tell ya about that.
Owned it for a good while and it still works after a month in the desert. I would recommend it.
