How about built in poll topics.
With option buttons to select a response to a poll posted by a user?
And I like the information on the right.

I don't know how long it would take, but couldn't you add that to the board preferences - and option to change which side the poster info is displayed on, sort of like the board style? Just a thought..

How about when you go into a forum like Basic or whatever, the topics are listed in order of most recent post.

The basic missions are not in order because they are not categories. Then a mod added one topic to the basic category and took away privilages of all normal users to create new topics. The other missions are categories, and they remain in the order they are in now (some are out of order) because they are categories.

I really wish I could help with this stuff - I know how to do all of it, and manage 2 forums with phpBB.


Oh, and comperr, have you updated the forum version to 3.0.1 yet? I could be of assistance if you need help..

Hey what ever happened to the testing forum, like on criticalsecurity.net? I never test anything, but I know many other people do and I just happened to notice that we don't have that on these new forums. Is there a specific reason why or did you guys just forget or something?

EDIT: Something else I just now noticed. I searched the entire board index and nowhere on there is a link back to main part of hackthissite. The huge banner at the top that says "Hack This Site" links you to the board index. That should be a link to the main site, considering we already have a link saying "Board index" < "HackThisSite" < "Comments & Suggestions".

What do you think?
