Ok I know what I am supposed to do but I can't figure out how to do it. Can somebody please pm me? I can't edit the code for some reason.

If you are using Firefox and simply 'view page source', you won't be able to make any changes to it that way. You could download the firebug add-on which will let you view and edit the source. Another option would be that when you 'view page source', copy and paste it into notepad, edit it there, and then save it. Make sure it's saved with the proper extension - .txt won't work.

I'm not sure if something is broken. I'm nearly positive I'm doing this right, but when I have the password sent I get:

Page Not Found

The requested URL /missions/basic/4/level4.php was not found on this server.

Refresh gives me same error, however; if I click up in the address bar and hit enter, it says password sent.

I got past it (skipped to 5, solved 5, and used same trick on 4), but still kind of perplexed why I was getting that error on 4.

I'm not sure why you were getting that error because it's not doing it for me but at least you figured out how to get passed it.

okay, same thing goes to me when i edited it with our friendly notepad, and of course save it in the correct extension, and reopen the page saved, and a click to get the password, "Page Not found"
I think it's because we saved in our PC..but im not sure...
so i passed this challenge with an alternative way.just like defiance mentioned earlier "add-ons" but i still wanna know how to passed this by using notepad. I do know what to do, where to change and how to change, but I just cant get to the appropriate page.
anyone can PM me?

Hello. I have made a replica of the source and edited it to send the password to my email adress , but when i click "send to sam" , it comes up a page that says "page not found" , i need a push in the right direction if ive done somthing wrong . Please message me with that push.

Make sure the replica contains the link that refers to missions/basic/4. Save it and load it. It should work.

If not, make sure the file extension is .html.

lol... although i manage to get the password..its kinda confusing...by changing 2 item and i get the password...randomly..
