ok guys i have read HTML thing. but i cant figure out how to get the password. help please?

no. i read all that and understand it a little bit. but i dont get how to edit it with notepad or whatnot

...You need to FIND the password to enter for completion.

From what I Understand the Password is in the HTML, but i am having trouble getting to the html page the "source" for me will not open and show me the HTML can you help me figure out what im doin wrong?

A PM would be fine with me so i can actualy type what im doin without giving out how to do it.

Other than what Monica has said, I will say this, the SOURCE is with you!! Once you have that, you are golden.

i know the source is with me >.< but the source does nothing when i click it, i mean it works on the main page but not the basic/1/ page

I will recommend this http://www.hackthissite.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2878 and to google "how-to-view webpage source code". It would be easy to say do this and then this and you can see the source code for this browser or that browser, but then what would anyone learn.

I am a believer in knowing where to find the information, not memorizing it!

hi ppl .
first sorry to post here ,because the Basic mission 2 posts closed , so sorry again.
my problem is still I didn't understand this :

Network Security Sam set up a password protection script. He made it load the real password from an unencrypted text file and compare it to the password the user enters. However, he neglected to upload the password file...

so please tell me more about it ? what should I read ? what is the specific book should I read and learn from ?
NOTE
I want help to learn more to get the real knowledge that's what I want ?
