Info-Anarchism and Crypto-Anarchism

I partially subscribe to Info-Anarchism, but what are your views on this and other types of Anarchism?

Since there are so many different types of anarchism it's hard to say whether or not all anarchism is a good idea or not. But all forms of anarchism are extreme in their ideals. Individualist anarchism, while a very interesting idea, is of course ludicrous I think. If the world was like that you'd have tyrants running rampant killing and taking whatever they please. It'd be exactly like Mad Max.

By the way, what exactly is info anarchism? I couldn't find anything about it on the internet.

Perhaps referencing net neutrality or completely free spread of information (no media caps, speech limitations, etc)?

I guess that would be the most logical conclusion. If it is then I am entirely for it.

Anarchism is an interesting concept. While it proposes more freedoms, it counteracts with more danger. For example:
The world has no direction or leadership, there are no laws. You walk into an abandoned store to see a package of cookies. You have not had cookies in years, and figure despite the staleness you want them. Out of the shadows another man with the same idea appears. Logically, both of you would be armed in a world of chaos, and since you both want the cookies, both draw weapons. Someone will die over COOKIES if not both, and I doubt the concept of sharing would go over too well.
However the freedom would play out something like this:
You walk into an abandoned Wal-Mart. You grab every game, game console, computer, gun, ammo pack, and all the food you can find. You're set for a long time.
The above would only work if someone else doesn't appear.

So anarchism, like every other idea of government has pros and cons. Myself, I would prefer to avoid anarchism. Just an opinion.

The thought of anarchism is very intriguing to me. I wouldn't mind so much living in a world like that. But most people today couldn't I would imagine. The real idea of anarchism involved mostly owning land and being self-sufficient with no help from the government and we can all agree that many many people could not handle this. Basically, anarchists wanted people to get what they put out. X amount of labor= X amount of pay. In the beginning it had a lot more to do with economics than what people think of today. Such as people fighting over cookie with Colt Pythons haha.

At least, that was a huge part of it. Just google anarchism and look at the wikipedia page. There are many many different schools of thought about anarchism as there are many different types of it.

This relates to my view on communism. The original idea is great, but after time and applying it to real life, it takes a turn for the worse.

I guess it's akin to one of those theoretical mathematics - great as a concept, terrible in execution.

Eh, I'd have to agree. Although the idea is so intriguing to me sometimes. In all honesty, the Libertarian party in America is quite similar to early anarchists. But they are a bit more controlled.

It's a very interesting concept. Different forms of government work best at different levels of society, and at different times. For instance, in a family surrounding, you probably live in a dictatorship style setting if you're the son or daughter. Anarchy type hanging out with friends. Communist type at low level government agencies. Think of how atoms and tiny particles govern themselves versus how the cosmos and very large particles behave such as in space. It seems that it is illogical to think that one system is the answer to everything. But I digress, and in my personal opinion, the more freedom the better. but not too much. Balance.
