([msg=21099]see is there a god?[/msg])
i personally don't think there is a god and if there is he is pretty selfish, "you shall have no god before me" wow. and the virgin birth..yeah OK more then likely didn't happen, she was probably messing around with some dude and didn't want everyone to know so she made some crap up. As for Jesus, many Egyptian gods 1000 years before him meet the same criteria like Horus for example, son of the god Osiris, born of a virgin, baptized in a river, his baptist was later beheaded, healed the sick, the blind, cast out demons, and walked on water, raised Asar form the dead, oh and he had 12 deciles. He was also crucified, 3 days later two women announced he had risen from the dead. There are some others don't worry, Krishna from India 1000 before Jesus, he was a carpenter, born of a virgin, baptized in a river. Mithra born December 25th, performed miracles, resurrected on the third day, known as the lamb, the way, the savior, the messiah.
that looks like enough for now, sorry i kept going on but you get the idea.
if you believe in god, go ahead all I'm saying is id don't.
and most of the info i got came from a documentary called religulous.
