Just update firefox. Other than that, try out Extension Developer and Add n' Edit Cookies.

Remember that the "hacking tools" alone won't do it, you will still have to use your brain. Also, along with what the previous poster said, try Tamper Data.

Be careful, there is some script kiddie addon's out there which really aint good for learning. I recommend first you play and use a web proxy tool like webscarab/proxomitron/burp proxy suite. Make sure you sort out your network conection to connect to the proxy first.
As for addon's I recommend these, Add n Edit Cookies, Firebug, Tamper Data, User Agent switcher and Web developer.
There was an addon called netforce I believe, I can't remember if its still going but this was handy for things like base64 encoding/decoding and other encryptions.

You wont need the javascript debugger if you have firebug =]
Hackbar and sql inject me rarely work and they are the script kiddie way of testing for injections imo

Fair enough. I like using the JavaScript Debugger because you can enter javascript on-the-fly, is that supported in Firebug?

And about the Hackbar and SQL Inject Me... I'm not sure I've ever used the Hackbar, I just think it might be a useful tool for someone else. And SQL Inject Me is good for speeding up the process and making it more efficient, but is obviously no replacement for the old-school way.
