Done. The algorithm is really simple. Now I dont suppose people use such poor algorithms in real life.. Do they????

I understand how the algorithm works, and i know what to do, but i cant get the last character. I'm using a laptop that doesn't have a numb-pad, will that be a problem?

Edit: Oh, duh, i was calculating wrong, I dont need the numb-pad.

Correct, num-pad is not needed for this but if someone is having difficulty finding the right chars, after figuring out the algorithm, an ascii chart could come in handy and take some of the guess work out.

just one question on this one though..i worked out the alogrithm, but and i apologise if this sounds like a simple and possibly stupid question..but can you get the alogrithm from the source code?? or must you always work it out?

I'm a little confused...I worked out what the decrypted password should be (and encrypted it as a check, which worked) but when I enter the password I get the error saying it is an incorrect password.

hmm....there must be something slight that you are overlooking.

My mistake was that I thought the semicolon in the encrypted password was a "j". ^_^
