Small change to the NZone

For the first 2 days/2 posts new threads are moderated in the NZone.
Warned users are fully moderated in the NZone.

It means that your first two posts to the NZone have to be approved.

It also means that any posts within the first two days to the NZone have to be approved.

To you, it doesn't mean much other than your posts aren't instantaneous. To me, it means I have to go read your post, make sure it's not illegal, and then click a button so everyone else can see it to.

So why do my posts have to be submited by a mod?

they're not really submitted by a mod, just held until they're sure it's nothing illegal.

Think of it like shipping something to a friend across the border. You send it, it's all your info, but customs has to look it over. If they determine it's fine, then they send it on to your friend (or in this case, viewed to the board), if they see that it's something illegal, they generally send it back to you, or at least give you notice that it's been derailed, and that it's not getting put up. They also have a tendency to warn you.

I have to use it occasionally in a couple of boards I'm admin on, mainly though, I use it in good fun with other mods/admins. :p

so i thought this was a great new idea when i first read it, but its starting to get on my nerves
either im mis-reading it or someone hasnt given me access
ive made far more than 2 posts, and all my posts are still moderated
i think (at least how it is now) there is too much of a choke on the nzone and its going to start dying

why only mod the nzone just thinking out loud but if i kno that my first 2 post to the n zone are being mod then y not move to an other section not saying that i condone illeagal post but that seem like alot of work and fustration for a simple solution

That doesn't make it any less annoying.

I understand making the first 2 posts moderated, but honestly the fact that anything I post is moderated is extremely lame.

Often noobs come here asking for help and they have to flounder in their noobiness until our posts are approved ;(
