im confused as to what command to type? I understand that basically I want to exploit some flaw in the validation that will allow me to show the contents of the directory with the level 9 password in it

but I have no clue how to do this. If you can only use specific commands (as described on the level 9 page) then how do i get get around that?

Never mind i figured it out =).

ok i can get into the parent directory of leavel 8. my friend told me to go into the parent directory of the parent directory in leavel 9 but how do i tell it i want the parent directory of leavel 9. i don't think thats a soiler. sorry if it is i just really need help this leavel seems easy but its taking me like a week.

So.. We actually try to solve lvl 9 with the input box from lvl 8? Doesn't that give some serious problems, or is the site scripted that your lvl 8 is different if you have completed it?

It's a matter of finding a different syntax & you do not have to complete the missions in order.
