this is my first time hacking but i got through the first three missions easy, i know basic html but i dont understand the changing of scripts or how to use the hint about email to get the correct answer

Using the clue given on basic 4's page and the posts in this forum should help you. Also think about things you've done with missions 1-3 and start there. Something related to the clue should catch your eye.

i have done this mission guys.. but i got a doubt abt it. i got it while i do the src code on othr new notepad. but it didn't get worked within hts site ... I know a logical reason for that but any of u guys tel me if there is an exact reason known to u. i hope u understand it.

There are several ways to complete this challenge and many variables that can come in to play as to why something didn't work.

Whatever method you decide to use to try and complete this know that it will not actually send an email to you. Reading some of these posts already states that. It only simulates an exploit but does not completely duplicate it.

ok i need help ive been working on this mission for two days and i still dont get it i changed the e**** to my e**** i received the password sent messege i saved the file to html and htm then i open the webpage but still nothing i know im either forgeting something or not doing something right plzzz help

If you've changed it correctly then it should display the password for you.

so its about manipulating the script to go to SPOILER, but for a beginner how do you use the notepad to create a new site?

Sounds like you have a couple of steps backwards. When this is done correctly you will not receive the page that says 'password reminder sent', instead you will receive a password. Look into firebug for firefox, it could help.
