Interesting stance. Typically the two major sides that come up in regards to my previous post are that it is better to have someone looking at that sort of pictures (i.e. 'fake') than to have them looking at ones of real exploited children, and far better than having them out in the world actually performing those acts, whereas some argue that those sort of pictures only encourage that sort of activity, and enforce in their mindset that what they are fantasizing about is alright. I know that it is illegal in some places (Canada) and not others (the US), but then again, so is hate speech. I think I would have trouble deciding either way.. (although I think banning that content (meaning the drawn or computer generated) is a violation of people's freedom of expression.. but then again, what if someone makes a 100% lifelike representation of someone that actually exists?) Just a few things to think about

I think before we answer any questions with that type of complexity we need to figure out exactly what we think is wrong with this stuff as a whole. Is it simply because they are kids? Is it because they can't decide for themselves? Is it because it hurts them? Is it because they are forced (Though this question adds a different question: What if they actually want to do it/aren't forced or coerced?)? There is a huge amount of rage toward the people who make this stuff. I think we should step back and ask the question: "Why are we enraged about this?".

I figure we should always examine things to the fullest and not simply be control by first impressions and emotions.

Now i think a lot of people have got caught up in the emotion of this debate. People hate those who look at such pictures and so condem everything about them without asking why. I mean the common answer will be to protect the childen in these photos, but then do we count lolicon in there? That hurts nobody, and sick perverts get what they want.

It depends on the context of the site. If it was made to be a porn site, it should be taken down without delay, then the people involved should be dragged out into the street and shot (Or lethal injection, either way....). But the sites that take photos of nude childen for art modeling? That does get grey. I mean if any nude child is pornography then surly any nude adult is to? And thats a lot of art....

But of corse the question was about children in sexual acts. I just can't see this as art, no matter what. It isn't freedom of speech and report to police.

To the above posts - can you help how you feel in relation to pedophiles? I'm guessing not.
Now, what if the pedophiles just can't help how they feel? Because I'm sure that's how it is.
Now of course they ought to constrain themselves, but then you do to in relation to killing them
I'm not supporting pedophilia, don't worry, I just like to see both sides of the story.

Killing them however is harsh - nobody should ever be killed for a crime they commit.
Murderers generally have had problems when they were children etc. The ideal approach would be to keep them incarcerated until they have been assessed and if possible treated. However, this is far too idealistic - it couldn't be done. So jail is unfortunately the best option.

But capital punishment is a bad option because there is always another side to each story - you might say "I honestly can't understand or justify why anyone would do this?" but that is you being stubborn, and not wanting to understand.

In my opinion, both child porn and racism is fine. It's just what people enjoy. It's human. It's natural. People can't help it so why should they be punished for it? If people are going around raping children or beating up niggas, then yeah, they should be punished. But making racist slurs and watching child porn, you shouldn't be charged for. Racist people and fans of child porn are people, just like you and me. We may like different things, to them, but we're going to have to learn to respect other's opinios and beliefs.

I don't find it sick or discusting that somebody likes children or hate against other races. I just don't agree with them taking their beliefs out on the child/person. If it harms the other person (nigga or child) then I think it's wrong, if it doesn't then I think that it's fine. Thank you for agreeing. x

I don't find it sick, or unnatural either, and yeah, agreed. Like i said, It's only when people start to go too far, and end up hurting the other people that it becomes serious.

The question is tho, how many people that the police have caught with only child porn on their computer etc, would of over time ended up taking it too far?
That's probably the biggest worry when it comes down to something like this.
